Role Overview – Data Centre Technician
As a Data Centre Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team, working under the guidance of a Site Manager and Project Manager. You will support the delivery of high-quality services in data centers, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with agreed standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Installation of data center racks, security cages and fiber pathways
- Installation of cabling systems (fiber and copper)
- Installation (mounting) of Wi-Fi systems
- Installation work related to hot and cold aisle containment systems
- Installation of IP surveillance camera systems
- Supporting the installation of active equipment
- Participation in data center modification projects
- Managing adds, moves and changes (AMC) in the data center environment
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience in construction or the building industry is beneficial
- Experience with IT cabling is beneficial
- Fluent Finnish and basic English
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
